Strategic Study of CAE 2003, Volume 5, Issue 6,   Pages 44-48

Abstract:

The characteristic of the bearing under thin film lubrication is far different to that of conventionalcalculation bearing. An equivalent viscosity corrected model is applied to analyze characteristic of journal bearing in thisFor infinite width bearing, an analysis equation on pressure distribution is gained. Then, the properties of journal bearing are calculated accurately.

Frontiers of Structural and Civil Engineering 2016, Volume 10, Issue 4,   Pages 456-461 doi: 10.1007/s11709-016-0334-1

Abstract: The relationship between the convexity on the ultimate bearing surface of a structure and the second-orderHessian matrix composed of the second-order partial derivatives on the hypersurface about the ultimate bearingSome applications in the analysis of bearing capacity of structures were illustrated with examples. The study shows that an evaluation about the bearing capacity state of a complex structure can be madeon the basis of several points on the surface of the ultimate bearing of the structure.
